Fine Art Owner & Pet Photography in West Cork

The most beautiful photographs are rarely the perfectly posed ones.

They are the quiet in-between moments. The way your dog looks at you during a walk through the woods. The movement of a horse in soft evening light. The feeling of being surrounded by nature together.

My photography sessions are designed to feel calm, natural and unhurried — creating atmospheric portraits inspired by the Irish landscape and the connection you share with your animals.

Based in West Cork, I specialise in fine art dog and horse photography with a storytelling approach focused on emotion, movement and atmosphere.

Why I became a fine art dog photographer

I have always loved taking photos, but for the longest time, I just used my phone to do this. Until the arrival of my new pup, Abbey. She is a Jack Russell Terrier and as fast as lightning. I knew I would need more than just my phone to make good photos of her. I borrowed my dad's camera and completely fell in love with photography.

My two dogs and two horses are the most important things in the world to me. I love photographing them on all the adventures we are up to. Since we moved to Ireland, I have found the perfect landscape for all my photos. More people must love their pets as much as I do. And the beautiful photos on your wall are the perfect reminder of your bond.

FAQ

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions take place across West Cork and surrounding areas, using quiet natural locations such as beaches, woodland areas and open landscapes.

My dog cannot be off lead. Is that okay?

Absolutely. Many dogs remain safely on lead during sessions, and leads can often be removed naturally during editing.

What happens with bad weather?

Soft clouds, mist and changing Irish weather often create the most atmospheric photographs. If conditions become too extreme, we can simply reschedule.

What should we wear for our session?

The best thing is to wear natural colors that don't overwhelm you. And for your dog or horse it is best to keep them safe. Think about how you want your photos to look. We can talk more about this when we do our pre-session call.

How long does it take to get our photos?

Photos will be delivered to your own personal online gallery within 48 hours after the photoshoot. After choosing your favourites, you'll receive the edited version within 2 weeks (Most likely faster)

Do you offer albums or prints?

This is available on request. Please mention this after booking a session and we can talk about it.

How do I book?

You can reach out through the contact form on the website to discuss ideas, locations and availability.
