Relaxed beach photography for dogs and their people
There is something special about summer evenings in West Cork.
The beaches become quieter, the light softens, and the whole coastline seems to slow down for a moment. Dogs race through the sand, people finally relax into their holidays, and the best memories often happen in the simplest moments.
That is exactly what these Summer Sunset Sessions are about.
These sessions are designed for dog owners, couples and families who want natural, meaningful photographs together along the Wild Atlantic Way — without stiff posing or pressure for perfectly behaved dogs.
What's included?
These sessions are short, simple and enjoyable.

- 30-minute outdoor photography session at one carefully chosen West Cork beach location.
- 5 professionally edited digital images. Delivered in an online gallery.
- TwoDogs and owners included. These sessions are all about the connection between you and your dog.
- Sunset timing for the best light. Sessions take place during the golden evening light that makes West Cork so beautiful in summer.
- Option to upgrade your gallery. If you fall in love with more images (which often happens), additional images and wall art are available afterwards.

Locations
Sessions take place at one of my favourite West Cork locations, including:

- Red Strand
- Long Strand
- Owenahincha Beach
- Galley Head area
- The Warren
- Inchydoney
I’ll help choose the best location based on your dog, the weather, and the kind of atmosphere you love most.

A relaxed experience
You do not need a perfectly trained dog for beautiful photographs.

Honestly, most dogs are far more interested in exploring the beach than sitting still for portraits — and that is completely okay. Some of my favourite images happen in the in-between moments: a dog running back to their owner, a quiet cuddle on the sand, or everyone laughing because the dog has decided a seaweed-covered stick is the most exciting thing in the world.
These sessions are calm, flexible and designed around your dog’s personality.

"Quirine was fab, so gentle, kind and patient with my 2 boys. I was amazed especially at how my normally extremely cautious lab took to Quirine immediately. The whole experience was great fun for myself and the dogs. They were just having fun being themselves frolicking in the forest and Quirine managed to capture their essence and personalities in a beautiful collection of photographs that myself and my family shall cherish.. Thanks Quirine"

Why Summer Sunset Sessions?
Summer in West Cork never lasts as long as we think it will.
One moment it is the first warm evening of the year, and before we know it, autumn has arrived again. A Summer Sunset Session is a way to pause for one evening and preserve that feeling: the sea air, sandy paws, golden light, and the people (and dogs) you love most beside you.

FAQ
Can we bring more than two dogs?
Yes, absolutely. Just let me know beforehand so I can plan the session accordingly. I charge an extra fee for more than 2 dogs of € 25
What if the weather changes?
This is Ireland — the weather likes to keep us on our toes. If conditions are unsuitable, we simply reschedule for another evening.
What should we wear?
Natural, comfortable colours work best for beach sessions: creams, blues, earthy tones and soft neutrals. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and like yourself.
Do you photograph holiday visitors too?
Yes. Many of my clients are visiting West Cork or travelling the Wild Atlantic Way with their dogs.
